This post is intended as an advertisement of sorts so in order to establish a context, I must clarify that I'm putting this up here with the permission (or at least, the tacit nonchalance) of the site's adminstrators and purely in order to reach an audience that might be appropriate to my message.
Now, until I leave for college in mid-August, I will be available to provide tutoring for those of you who may need guidance as you prepare for the SAT tests. The SAT, as those who have taken it will point out, is an aptitude test and for this reason, I cannot 'teach' you from a set syllabus or a standard curriculum. Instead, I can offer to coach you for the test by pointing our strategies and approaches that were helpful to me as I prepared for my own SAT tests about two years ago.
I am confident that this sort of tutoring will be beneficial to all SAT takers, but once again, because the SAT is an aptitude test that is affected by, among other things, your productivity under pressure and your tendency to make careless errors, I cannot guarantee that you will get a perfect or near-perfect score.
After reading the above, if you are interested in and serious about arranging tutoring sessions with me over the next two months or so, feel free to contact me at this email address. Scheduling arrangements will be entirely flexible and I will be available for the entire months of June and July. Given that the SAT is an aptitude test, I would imagine that no more than a handful of sessions will be necessary in order to get you acquainted with the necessary test-taking techniques and strategies. I also understand that not everyone needs the same level of guidance in each of the three sections and I will adjust the pace of my tutoring to match your level of comfort. Rates and locations are negotiable, so if you are serious about being tutored, I will meet you halfway.
Once again, if you'd like to arrange a session or make additional inquiries, get in touch with me at srrinath@gmail.com(sic).
