If you need to write essays for your college application, there are a few sites that have provided interesting (good and bad) examples:

www.essayfroum.com

This site shows both the good and the needs-improvement essays. Those who post usually will edit the posted essay directly below so you can see how people think about essays. If it helps, it's a large collection.

www.brainyprep.com

This site is supposedly (according to the authors) good because it posts only the essays of successful applicants. It's your own take whether to believe them or not... Be critical!
